shrimp and oysters are uh....not a problem. I will buy them on thursday when I buy the roast ox, you can make gumbo for lunch! Maybe friday? That way more people are there? Scott and I were just talking about that yesterday. I make rice the normal way...how much rice you think we'll need? I anticipate that we probably won't need any more rice than a double batch (4 cups rice dried) and that would cook just fine on the stovetop (we use basmati rice). Skot is the resident expert rice maker. We generally let it boil down on the stovetop till it's almost done and then let it steam itself down the rest of the way.
