Brewing Method: Extract
Yeast: Wyeast #3068
Yeast Starter: 1qt. or use yeastcake from another hefe-weizen.
Batch Size: 5 gallons
Original Gravity: 1.070
Final Gravity: 1.019
Alcohol Content: 6.8 %
Total Grains: 1/2lb. Special B
Color:
Extract Efficiency: %
Hop IBU's:
Boiling Time: 60min.
Primary Fermentation: 14 days 68-70 degrees

Grain Bill:
5lb. Breiss Wheat DME
3lb. Munton's Extra light DME
Hop Bill:
1oz.Mt.Hood 5.1%AA 60min.
1oz.Mt.Hood 4.2%AA 15min.
Mash Schedule:
Steep the Special B for 25 minutes at 155 degrees.
Start with 2 and 1/2 gallons cold water for the boil.
Add all DME and first oz. of hops and boil 1 hour.
Add second oz. of hops with 15 minutes to go.
Top up ferment vessel to 5 gallons with filtered water.
Add yeast.
