The following is my favorite all extract weizen recipe. I'm into all grain now but when I dont have
time for an all grain batch Ill revert to this.

4 lbs Edme Superbrew Gold Weizen lager wheat bier extract
4 lbs M+F 55% wheat 45% barly dried extract
2 oz 2.9 Alpha (5.8 aau) Hallertau plugs (boiling)
Wyeast 3068 Weinstephen
1 1/4 cup dried malt extract for priming

Used 15 min boil. OG = 1068 FG=1018. Color was golden brown.

Would try Irish moss to reduce cloudiness slightly. Keep fermenting temp below 70f to reduce banana
esthers.

Makes a real kick ass dunkel; I think the color, strength, and body qualify it in spite of not using
specialty malts; If you had to, Id try medium dark crystal malt.
