Yeast: White Labs Hefewiezen Ale
Yeast Starter: none
Batch Size: 5 gallons
Original Gravity: 1.062
Final Gravity: 1.010
Alcohol Content: 5.0 %
Total Grains: 11.0 lbs
Color: 5.3
Extract Efficiency: 85 %
Hop IBU's: 56.0
Boiling Time: 60 min
Primary Fermentation: 7 days
Secondary Fermentation: 7 days
Additional Fermentation: nada

Grain Bill:

6 lbs of German Wheat malt
3 lbs of Pilsener malt
2 lbs of German Munich malt
1/4 lb of Rice Hulls

Hop Bill:

3.0 oz Hallertauer 60 min
1.0 oz Hallertauer 20 min

pinch of iris moss at last 15 min of boil

Mash Schedule:

single infusion mash at 160 degr. for 60 min
sparge with 180 degr. water

Brewers Notes:

Keep mash temp at 160 to avoid stuck mash when sprging
Great taste and very easy to brew. I try to keep this one on tap always.
