Yeast: am.ale (1056)
Yeast Starter: brew pub yeast harvest
Batch Size: 5 gallons
Original Gravity: 1.048
Final Gravity: 1.008
Alcohol Content: %
Total Grains: 10 pounds (50-50 wheat and barley
Color: purple
Extract Efficiency: 60-ish, i think %
Hop IBU's: 7 hbu
Boiling Time: 1.5 hours
Primary Fermentation: 1 week 68 degrees
Secondary Fermentation: none
Additional Fermentation: none

Grain Bill:

5 pounds marris otter crisp malt
5 pounds belgain wheat malt

Hop Bill:

1 oz. mt.hood hop plugs 1hour 5.5 aau
.5 oz. mt. hood hop plugs 30 min.

Mash Schedule:

step mash, start at 129 for 15 min and procede to 149-151 for 1 hour and 15 min. mash out at 170 10 min.

Brewers Notes:

add 5 pounds of black berries, fresh picked and frozen for a bout a week prior to use.
