A Pleasant Surprise

Beermakers Lager
1kg Light liquid malt extract
200g Dextrose
100g Dried corn syrup
12g Saaz hop pellets 2AAU
Wyeast Bohemian lager

Bring 4 litres of water to the boil then remove from heat. Dissolve the contents of the kit, malt, dextrose
and corn syrup into the water and boil for 30 minutes. Add hops for the final 5 minutes of the boil. Strain
into a fermenter. Makes 23 litres. Pitch yeast at 24C, ferment at 12-14C. Rack after 7 days. Store bottles at
0C for 3 months after bottling.
