Mash Schedule:

I used stove top 3 step mash raising temp with burner.
1. Start by adding 3.5 gal water to 10 pounds grain in large brew pot.
2. Raise temp to 122 degrees for 30 min.
3. Raise temp to 152 degrees for 60 min.
4. Raise temp to 170 degrees for 20 min.
5. Sparge with 2 gal 170 degree water

Brewers Notes:

This is a easy all grain recipe that I tried while expermenting with lager yeast and hops.
BREW HINT: Heat 2 gal water for sparging and use as much as possible.
My brew pot is only 5 gal so I recover as much as possible and then top off in primary.
Don't forget Irish moss during last 15 min of boil.
I did not acheive lager temps but as long as fermentation temps are below 70 this particular lager yeast will work. This is a nice light brew good for drinking during the summer. It is lower in alchol than most home brews so it does not drag you down in hot weather. If your a hop lover like me you'll like this brew.
