Brewing Method: All Grain
Yeast: Wyeast 2007 Pilsen Lager
Yeast Starter: 1/2 gallon
Batch Size: 10 gallons
Original Gravity: 1.051
Final Gravity: 1.010
Alcohol Content: 5.4 %
Total Grains: 18.5 pounds
Color: 3.1
Extract Efficiency: 70 %
Hop IBU's: 26
Boiling Time: 60 minutes
Primary Fermentation: 30 days, 58 degrees
Secondary Fermentation: 30 days, 38 degrees
Additional Fermentation:

Grain Bill:

13 pounds Breiss 2 row
2 lbs flaked corn
1 pound minute rice
1.50 lbs cane sugar
1.0 pound wheat malt

Hop Bill:

1.50 ounce Tettnanger 4.2% 60 minutes
2.0 ounce Tettnanger 4.2% 30 minutes
1.0 ounce Tettnanger 4.2% 15 minutes

Mash Schedule:

Mash 60 minutes at 154 degrees with 5 gallons of water at 172 degrees strike temp.

Sparge with 4 gallons (yes 4 gallons) of soft water at 168 degrees. Acidify this water to a pH of 5.4

Brewers Notes:

A keg of this lasted 20 mintes at an office party. I would like to try to add a little body to this using Cara Pils or maybe a little Munich malt next time.
