Grain Bill:

6 lbs M&F dark dry malt extract
14 oz crushed roasted barley
2 oz crushed chocolate malt
9 oz crushed crystal malt
8 oz crushed black malt

Grains crushed lightly with rolling pin.

Hop Bill:

Flavoring:
2 oz Northern Brewer
1/2 oz Saaz

Aromatic:
1 oz Saaz

It was one of those "lets clean out the remaining malt & hops in storage" days, and the result was a great stout! Never heard of using Saaz in a stout, but it does work well.

Regarding the process...pretty standard:
Add crushed malt to a grain bag and add to cold water in pot. Bring to boil and them remove. Add malt extract and flavoring hops and boil for 55 minutes. Add aromatic hops and boil for 5 minutes. Add to fermenter with water to top off. Add yeast when temp is right. I waited 11 days before bottling...probably could be less. Oh yeah, don't forget the bottling sugar...I used 1/2 cup corn sugar.
