2.5 oz Columbus Pellets 16% AA-60 mins
2.5 oz Columbus Pellets 16% AA- 5 mins
2.5 oz Columbus Pellets 16% AA-Dry Hop
Mash Schedule:
2# Crystal malt in 1.5 gals water @ 155 degress F for 45 mins.
Rinse with .5 gals @ 170 degrees F.
Brewers Notes:
Total water @ boil= 7 gals. Used .5 tsp Irish moss & 1/3 oz Burton
salts. Add 2# Crytal to 1.5 gals water raise to 155 degs. hold for 45 mins. Rinse grain bag w/ .5 gals @ 170 degs. Add tea,LME to boil pot,commence boil. At 1st boil add 2.5 oz Columbus loose to boil pot. At 45 mins add .5 tsp Irish moss. At 55 mins add 2.5 oz
Columbus. At 60 mins cool to pithing temp. and dump in starter.
After initial ferm. rack to secondary ( I waited 7 days)and add 2.5 oz Columbus loose! Bottled after 14 days in 2ndary. Bottle condition foa at least 3 mos. If you like Victory HopDevil IPA...
