Yeast Starter: Appr.8oz. Lost Coast Pale Slurry
Batch Size: 5gal.
Original Gravity: 1.065
Final Gravity: 1.013
Alcohol Content: 6.8 %
Total Grains: 11 lb.s

Hop IBU's: 38
Boiling Time: 60m.
Primary Fermentation: 5 days @ 74
Secondary Fermentation: 25 days @ 74

Grain Bill:

8lb.s {Great Western}2Row Pale Malt,1lb. Crystal Malt{60},.25lb. Cara-pils,.75lb.Wheat Malt.

Hop Bill:

1.25oz. Cascade 5.5% {60}
.75oz. Cascade 5.5% {30}
.5oz. Centenial 7% {Dry Hopped}

Mash Schedule:

Started W/2.75 Gal. of 142f.Added grain to stabalize at 124f. Held for 25min.Added 1.5Gal. of boiling water and direct heat to raise temp. to 154f. Held for 45min. And sparge w/ 175f. water to get a bit over 6Gal.Boil,add Hops at specified times,1tsp.Gypum for60min.and 1tsp. Irish Moss at5min.

Brewers Notes:

I like to prime using wort from my batch (Gyle).So save about a quart to prime with. Allow to age atleast a month and enjoy!
