Brewing Method: All Grain
Yeast: Fresh culture from bottle of SierraNevada Pale Ale
Yeast Starter: 1 Qt.
Batch Size: 5 Gal. US
Original Gravity: 1.060
Final Gravity: ?
Alcohol Content: ? %
Total Grains: 14 lbs.
Color: ?
Extract Efficiency: %
Hop IBU's: lots
Boiling Time: 75 minutes
Primary Fermentation: 7 days @ 65'F
Secondary Fermentation: 5 days @
Additional Fermentation: bottle condition 7 days @ primary temp.

Grain Bill:

10 lbs. Breiss 2 row pale
1 lb. red wheat malt
1 lb. Munich Light
1/2 lb. carapils
1/2 lb. caravienne
1/2 lb. Vienna (25'L)
1/2 lb. special B

Hop Bill:

1 Oz. Eroica @ 11.2%AA for 60 min. (Pellets)
1/2 Oz. Cascade @ 5.9%AA for 40 min. (Pellets)
1/2 Oz. Cascade @ 5.9%AA for 20 min (Pellets)
1 Oz. Cascade @ 5.9%AA for 5 min. (Whole flower)

Mash Schedule:

Single temp. infusion mash schedule. Mash in with 4.5 gal. H2O treated w/ 1 Tbs. Burton's Salts @ 165'F to hit strike temp of 155'F.
Hold temp. for 2 hrs. Lauter & sparge w/ 4 gallons H2O @ 180'F.
All grins on bill are included into the mash.
