Yeast: Whitbread ale yeast (Dry)
Yeast Starter: 1/2 Cup wort in 1 cup cold water
Batch Size: 4 Gal. (US)
Original Gravity: 1.055
Final Gravity: 1.014
Alcohol Content: 5.3 %

Extract Efficiency: %
Hop IBU's: 52
Boiling Time: 1 hour
Primary Fermentation: 5 days at ~68 deg. F
Secondary Fermentation: 2 days at ~68 deg. F

Grain Bill:

John Bull, Bulldog Blends - Hopped Light Malt Extract - 3.52 lbs
American Classic Light Malt Extract - 1.65 lbs

Hop Bill:

Northern Brewer - 7% Alpha - 60 Min.

Northern Brewer - 7% Alpha - 0 Min.
(add when you turn the heat off)

Mash Schedule:

Brewers Notes:

1) Used 3/4 lb priming sugar in two cups water
2) No carifier needed, yeat stays put on bottom during pour.
3) 10 days minimum in bottle, best after 3 weeks

Red in color, Crisp tart nose, full mouth, sweet tast with a slightly bitter finish
