Grain Bill:
7 lb Pale Ale
1 lb Crystal 40L up
.5 lb Black Patent
.5 lb Chocolate
1 lb Roasted

HOPS:
.5 oz Northern Brewer ~9% AU 60 min
.5 oz Northern Brewer ~9% AU 30 min
1 oz Fuggles 3-4% AU 5 min

use 1.5 Qts/lb mash water
122F Protein Rest 30 min
136F Protein Rest 15 min
156F Saccharification rest 1-1.5 hours
168F Mash out 10 min

4-5 Gal 170F Sparge
Appropriate Ale yeast
