If you have persistent swelling itching etc in foot & ankle area particularly if you had numerous "bugbites" on your feet, or other area which was in contact with the ground, be aware at least one case of RatFest chiggers has been confirmed.
you may wanna consult Doctor or good info source (wouldn't be me) re treatment.
